How-To: Add information to my site for search engines

Yes. Search engines use various methods of collecting data about your website, including recording viewable and non-viewable information. The viewable information is that which users can see when visiting your website.

Non-viewable information for search engines is stored in what is called meta tags. These tags exist inside the code of some web pages. You can add website title, description and keyword information in your portal site. Go to Site Settings. You will find fields for each of these data elements.
